Jimmy Rollins can talk all he wants but the Phillies just can't match it. They remind me of the 2003 Cardinals, who could hit very good, had ok starting pitchin, but a horrible bullpen. They will finish 3rd place. Braves and Mets are too good. Thankfully the Cards have recovered. Go Cards!They just aren't clicking. Trust me, I know how it is, I'm a cubs fan

The phillies have the potential to be a pretty good team. A solid defense and a good offense (not as good as my red sox but, you know). The main problem with the Phillies is their bullpen. They are all terrible. They are like the Devil Rays, they need to go out and spend more than $10 on a reliever. They should go out and get Brad Lidge now that his price has gone down because he lost his job as the closer. He got bumped to the set up role. Also another cheap person they could get is Darren Oliver from the angels. They Phillies could also go to the sox and ask about Joel Pinero, J.C Romero, or Manny Delcarmen (although it would take alot to get Delcarmen it would be a great pickup). Another guy that would be good for the Phillies is Tanyon Sturtz. There is alot of options but the phillies cant seem to put together the right move.Who would you rather have as your catcher ?
