When you go to a major league baseball game do you always stay to the end?
Question:I almost always do. I don't go to more than a couple of games a year so I don't want to cheat myself.
But I left the Pirates game last night after the 8th with the Buccos up 3-1. It was frickin' freezing out. And then the Astros tied it up in the ninth and it went 16 innings. Glad I wasnt there.
One of the only other times I ever left a game early was at Yankee Stadium, about 20 years ago. That game also was tied in the 9th and went 16 innings. Odd coincidence, lol

I stay til the end. I cant imagine paying a few hundred to bring a family, buy food for kids and park to leave 2/3 way through the game.Absolutely. The only time I've left anything early was last year I left the Pirates' 18 inning May 27 game against the Astros in the 15th. I would have stayed but I had a 3 hour drive ahead of me and the person I was there with insisted on leaving. I was upset, especially after learning how they won.

Well, I always like to stay till the end also. I love watching baseball no matter what the teams are or what the score is. I always like watching a baseball game.I NEVER EVER leave a game early. I've been going to 15-20 Mets games a year since I was about 4 years old. Whether they're winning 15-2 or losing 15-2 or the game goes 18 innings, I never ever leave early.
First of all, you never know what can happen. Just like the other night when Damion Easley of all people hit a homerun in the 10th to tie it at 1 after Colorado scored and then the Mets won in the 12th.

I always stay to the end because baseball is one of the few American Sports that doesn't have a clock on it. In football, basketball or Hockey there is always a clock counting down the time but in baseball, it ain't over till its over!
