When will Chris Carpenter be back?
Answers:
Are there any baseball leagues in Louisiana for adults? I'm 26 and would love to be able to play.?
I heard the cards are evaluating him over the next couple weeks and they may decide to have surgery on the elbow, but if this happened he would be out for 2-3 months, so this isn't a season ending injury here. Will Micah Owens continue to do good this year?
no. he will be killed off like jesus. What the matter with Johan santana?
Whenever he is healthy the Cardinals would rather be without him now then for the entire season. Wells, Wainwright, and Looper are holding their own right now and there is no rush to bring him back. The Cardinals aren't the Cubs they won't bring a pitcher up before he is ready. GO CARDINALS!too late
Not before May1st
Where is the best place to see a view of the construction of the new mets stadium Citi Field?
who cares??he cant help the aging cardinalsApr 11 Joe Strauss, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Cardinals SP Chris Carpenter (elbow) is being bothered by bone spurs in his elbow, which is the reason for his trip to the 15-day disabled list. The seriousness of the injury is only considered "low to moderate" and is not expected to be season-ending. He will be evaluated over the next 10 to 14 days, after which the club will decide on a course of action. Surgery remains a possibility, however, the team would like to avoid that as it would likely keep him out two to three months. KFFL
Apr 11 Cardinals team doctor George Paletta confirmed Tuesday that bone spurs are the source of an elbow impingement, but that he probably won't need surgery, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Carpenter's not out of the woods yet. Paletta confirmed that if Carpenter continues to have swelling and pain after throwing that they may have to discuss surgical options. So far, Paletta is optimistic Carpenter can return within the next few weeks, but this is definitely something to be concerned about.
Hey yanks fans? question about the sox fans!?
He will be ready when he feels 100% and after a minor-league game or two. Dates that teams give you are just when they think he should be ready and when they hope he is ready. You can never be too sure. And April 11th is definitly wrong. He went on the 15 day DL around his second start. I would expect him back until the begging of May or mid-May.More Questions & Answers...
