I would you feel if they started putting advertising in the uniform or field?
Question:I'm against it. i'm happy there has never been advertising such has the spider man thing a couple of years ago. i things like soccer and the advertising on the stadium is really annoying too.

I hope they will because they need the money. MLB is fading fast.Some stadiums are doing that. It doesn't bother me. But on jerseys might.

There has been advertising on uniforms, recently: when the Yankees and Devil Rays opened the 2004 season with two games in Japan, despite the D'Rays being designated the home team for both games, the Yankees also wore their home unis, on the basis that the Yankee white pinstriped uni was more iconic (it is) and therefore more marketable on the international stage. The two game series was sponsored by Ricoh, a camera manufacturer, and the Yankees wore Ricoh patches on their sleeves and helmets (not sure if the Rays did as well). I don't agree with much that he does, but I agree with this. His successor (if he ever leaves office) might not be so traditional.
