So, in someway you are right, its' not easy to get an out from Derek Jeter but there are few guys up there also that are tough to strike out.

And for the first answerer, slugging percentage has nothing to do with the number of K's. Its how many total bases per at bat, so guy who bats .200, hits a lot of singles, but never strikes out would have a really low slugging percentage.

Jeter is a quality player, but not impossible by any means to strike out.You can get him looking inside/outside often.
However, if on 2 strikes you throw him something over the plate, he will hit it or foul it off.
He is impressive at fouling off pitch after pitch until he gets something he can really hit, and usually does.
