Boston Red Sox?

Ceiling is simply a measurement of raw tools and attempting to translate that into major league skills, so by that definition, we must put Hughes in the top spot, with his throw-for-strikes 4-seam and 2-seam fastballs and a solid curve, he's bound to be good, so long as his command improves as much as his pitching endurance is hoped to increase (he's been carefully watched to avoid arm fatigue and future injuries).
As for impact talent, Lincecum's your man. Baseball Prospectus called his curve "top of the line" and says his stuff was the best of any hurler in the 2007 draft, plus there are much fewer worries about work load for an accomplished college pitcher like him. Height (he's around 5'10") is the only beef they have on him, which isn't much of a problem at all.
For now, Lincecum's the man, but maybe down the road to 2010, Hughes might be the stud in the AL.
