Be nice... who is disappointed with the Chicago Cub's start this year?
Sounds like a great idea but where would you place them? I'd love to see a major league ball park down toward Long Beach Island. What a great attraction for shore lovers during the summer.Where did the term "platinum sombrero" come from?
so they can suck off the yankeesHi, I´m from sports1234.com Mexico. Which are the latest news about Roger Clemens?
Yes. Although it would be tough because NY is so critical and it already has the Phillies, Mets, and Yankees so close by. If it is anything like the Washington Nationals it will be a crash - and - burn project, but they'd have my support.Could some one tell me when ozzie is most likely to be at his restarant in st. louis thanks?
No, we have enough traffic as it is. Most of us are content with the inexpensive to watch and hugely entertaining slew of minor league teams which are scattered throughout the state. And if we want to see an MLB game we have 3 teams close by.I could see a reason to have a MLB team in New Jersey if it meant moving an existing team. The New York metro market is so huge and there were 3 teams in NYC before (50 years ago). Then you have hockey that has 3 metro teams and they all do pretty well.
But no way can it be an expansion team! Then MLB would have to add a second team (to keep the # of teams as an even number for scheduling). Baseball is way too spread out to support two new teams.
But I think MLB will try to work with the current regional structure. There are teams with struggling attendance, but they can be fixed... Not like the Montreal situation a few years ago.
Little League Bat Dimensions for 10-12 Year Olds?
Oh come on where you gonna put it, in the Meadowlands?? Traffic's a nightmare there as it is that's why the Devils and Nets don't draw that much playing there. And could you imagine what Sept and Oct would be like with a weekend series and the Giants or Jets in town, very rarely are they both on the road at the same time, that would be insane. And as for the previous post who said put it near Long Beach Island. You're kidding right?? The traffic down there's insane in the summer as it is, I know I lived down there for 20+years and didn't go anywhere unless I absolutely had to on a summer weekend. They have nightmares about trying to evacuate that area in an emergency. Besides they'd have a hard time drawing fans away from the Yankees, Mets, and (ugh)Phillies.More Questions & Answers...
