Question:Who pays whom when, lets say, the Cleveland Indians broadcasts on the largest radio station, clear channel, locally?

Do the Indians have to pay for the three hours they are on and then are able to sell ads during that time? Or does the radio station pay to have the Indians on their station and sell the ads to pay for the time?

The radio station buys a media contract from the ballclub for the rights to broadcast the games. The station in turn is able to charge more for the advertising they do during said broadcasts because of the larger listening audience.
