There are so many other factors other than your size. How big is your bat? What is your stance like? Does your weight transfer when you swing? Do you rotate your hips? What kind of pitches are you hitting? There are so many other things that make a good hitter. Watch some instructional tapes & be willing to listen to coaches when they tell you something. Being coachable & eager to learn will make you a good baseball player if you already have your fundamentals down. Remember, you don't have to be a power hitter to be a good player, home runs are fun to hit, but if that's all you are concentrating on, you will forget about the other things that will make you a contributor to your team. Good Luck!Whats the record for most games in baseball played in one day?
Not everyone is a home run hitter, there are some major league players that do not consistently hit home runs. You should try to focus on hitting hard line drives. This will improve your batting average and you will become a more complete hitter. For comparison, i was hitting 230 feet when i was 12. But i was 5'10'' and 130lbs. I couldnt hit home runs until i was roughly 15. ~6' 175lbs.
If you want to improve your home run hitting ability, work on your core strength. Good Luck

Don't worry about hitting home runs. The power will come eventually. Just work on getting you batting average up. Power is the last thing to develop, even for Major Leaguers, who don't usually hit their power plateau until the age of 27. So, if you work on making solid contact now, and become a good contact hitter, I promise you that you will eventually start knocking them out of the park... and if you work on your contact hitting now, you will be hitting more homers in the future.More Questions & Answers...
