We always had an end of the season bbq/carry-in followed by a softball (that's safer than a baseball) game between the kids and their parents. We always ended up having lots of fun. We made fools of ourselves for the most part. Still a great memory.What baseball player played for all these 3 teams?

I would say a pot luck picnic, that would give the parents to get know the other parents and kids will have more time to bond together. Maybe have parents chip in for trophies to give to the kids. It will mean a lot to the kids when they receive trophies especially when their name is engrave on it. Whenever the season is up we usually go to a pizza place and give out trophy's, it's fun. And yes 15 kids to a major league game? That would be 300 bucks for nosebleed seats plus you and your husband would be 340 bucks. Pizza party, hot dog cookout, or take them to a MINOR league game. It's more fun in a lot of ways, and certainly cheaper, and unless you're very near one of the 26 cities/regions with a major league team it's a lot easier to get to.Pony Keg

The Ball-B-Q is always a hit,thats what I used to do,get a field reserved and set up a BBQ and have the Dads play the kids in a game,the Moms can join in too,cause I know there is some gals that can play the game as well.Hot dogs and hamburgers are not to expensive.It is a good days work though even though I didn't look at it that way.More Questions & Answers...
