It was over before it began. He and Wood have the worse pitching mechanics I've ever seen. They were both doomed from the start. And no, its not over. He may not be as dominant as he once was, but hes not done. Hes only 26 and young bodies are much more capable of recovering from surguries. If they give him time to get his stuff together in the minors for a while, he can be back in a few years tops.

He will never be a dominant starting pitcher again. I don't believe that his career is over, but he may play a limited role, maybe at the end of somebody's starting rotation or in the bullpen.
