If you love the game continue to play for yourself. Some coaches can ruin the game for players, but some coaches become life long role models and may be able to help you out later on in life! Also your parents are just making you finish what has been started- a good lesson to learn.

Who will make the baseball hall of fame soon?
I am 40 years old and my dad worked in the office of a major league baseball team, I grew up loving everything about the game and played all sports in high school and got scholarships to some small colleges. Now my point - when my son came to me 3 years ago (he is 13 now) and said he did not want to play sports and would rather play music and be in theater, I was hurt. But it was what it was what makes him happy, and as father - I am proud of how well he is doing and will always be proud of him as long as he tries his hardest to succeed. But make sure you finish out the season - always finish what you start. I guareentee your parents will understand. Hang in there pal and good luck!Baseball/Basketball card pricing?
Sometimes parents are as deaf as kids, so you might try writing a letter or sending an email. State your reasons and tell them what you would do with the time that is now taken up with practice and games. Be realistic and don't promise to read a million books or clean your room. You might offer to spend the time helping coach a team of kids younger than you. My son played football last fall and he only had one coach, then one of the older brothers quit his high school team because it had quit being fun, so he stepped in and helped coach. He had a great time and got to enjoy the sport again and the boys loved having him around. They may not let you quit before the season is out but this should stop them from signing you up again. I don't know what is available in your town but you might ask them to look for a league that is less competitive where everyone gets to play. Good luck.

Man up and finish out the season. Believe it or not they are teaching you a valuable lesson you'll appreciate it later in life. Are you just going to quit every time you get bored with something, or you don't get your way?If you aren't be played it's probably because you aren't any good, not because the coaches are "messed up". Who knows maybe if you tried harder you'd get to play more. Your coaches probably sense you don't want to be there so they don't play you.
