Like a knuckle curve only instead of putting one finger like a knuckle ball and the other one straight out you put 2 fingers like a knuckle ball and one finger straight out and your thumb under the ball.From what I hear, use a slider grip but don't get on top of it. Essentially it is a "bad" slider because it doesn't break. However, the spin looks the same to the batter so if you can locate the pitch down, hitters will be fooled because it stays true instead of breaking.
The technique to throwing the gyroball is all in the legs, not in the unique grip of the baseball. I dont know how to grip it.

The gyroball is the most overrated pitch right now. In reality, it's just a bad slider. It is a pitch that can only be thrown by a pitcher with a great slider such as Daisuke Matzusaka.
