Who do u think will do better this year Miguel Cabrera or Mike Jacobs?
1. ShortstopShortstops seem involved in a lot of plays, so it would be important to have an above average fielder there
2. Catcher
Catchers have to throw out runners and prevent balls from going past. Think about how many less runs the opposing team would score if you had a wall behind home plate
3. Centerfield
Outfielders dive and jump to get balls, and sometimes miss. To have a centerfielder make 95% of those players would be awesome. If your left and right fielders have the ball go behind them, the centerfielder should be good enough to back them up.

Shortstop
Catcher to throw out runners, Centerfielder to make great catches in the outfield, and shortstop to keep ground balls in the infield. Those are the top 3.

Shortstop, centerfield, and catcher. Some of it depends on the home park. If I'm in Fenway, I'd rather have a GG in RF than CF.

Now it would also depend on how good of a batter they are, although a lot of times I think Rawlings looks at batting as well as fielding(Rafael Palmeiro) and would I rather have Graig Nettles at third in say 1970-76 or Brooks Robinson I say Nettles. Robinson probably gained two to three Gold Gloves at the end of his career on reputation. My fourth would be pitcher, and Rawlings groups outfielders as a group not by center, left or right they have tended to go with two centerfielders and the one right fielder with a cannon arm.

catcher all those pass balls
If Bonds hit the record breaker homerun in the All Star game. Would it count?
Statistically, the shortstop and second baseman have the most balls hit to them in the infield. The catcher is involved with every pitch of the game; a catcher with a great throwing arm can shut down the opponent's running game.1. Catcher 2. Shortstop 3. Second Base
