Jake Peavy 2007 = Johan Santana 2006?
Question:With all of his domination this year, do you think that he is this year's NL Cy Young and he will do just as excellent as Johan Santana did last year? Last night even though he got the No-decision in a loss by one run, he got one strike off of tying the major league record for consecutive K's (10), he got 9 and 3 quarters. Jake Peavy finished the game allowing 2 runs and he had 16 K's. He's currently 3-0 with 1 No Decision, 1.60 ERA, 36 K's. His first start of the year, he threw a winning 7-0 Shutout.
Do you think this is just an April/May phase or do you think Jake Peavy will carry out this domination throughout the whole year, maybe even leading the Padres to the NL West title to the Playoffs? What do you think his finishing record will be this year? I think he'll finish with 21 wins, 268 K's, and a 2.88 ERA.

This is nothing new for Peavy, he was always a great starter. Last year he was great in April, but was awful the rest of the year. Your numbers are a little overrated. Think 17 wins, 225 Ks and 3.24 ERA. Still Cy Young caliber numbers, but not Johan Santana numbers.A few Slow Pitch Softball questions.?
