Who was the last person to get the triple crown in baseball?

they should not be allowed to, but i do not think there is a rule against it, in my baseball league, you are not supposed to ump a younger family members team because you (obviously) might be biased

How to become a better little league hitter (for my son )?

Yes. Randy Wolf's brother is an umpire for MLB. His crew has wporked Randy's games, but they won't let the brother be homome plate umpire when Randy is pitching.

How does position balance in my roster affect my scoring? Should I have more hitters than pitchers?

i have had a teammate's uncle ump before, and what they did is made that umpire as a field ump instead of being the home plate umpire (calls balls and strikes)

therefore, this would minimize their effect on the game so they do not have as many opportunities to sway their calls towards their family member (or against it under whatever circumstances that may be).

it does not happen very often, but it can occasionally happen and that is usually what happens.

Where do you hold to throw the gyro ball and which way do you twist your wrist?

Generally, every league for every sport has different regulations regarding what games officials can work given any number of circumstances. For instance, in NCAA Football, officials cannot work a game in which one of the two teams playing is their alma mater. In many High School leagues, officials cannot work a game if their child is attending one of the schools playing, while in other leagues, a high school official might work a game between their alma mater and another school.

I have worked games in which I was the umpire-in-chief due to the other umpire(s) having family members pitching/catching/etc. Fortunately, I have no family members who actively play sports that I officiate, so I have not run into any sticky situation.

In the Major Leagues, umpires are not prohibited from umpiring a game in which a family member plays, with the following general exception: An umpire cannot be the umpire-in-chief (home plate umpire) when their immediate family member is the pitcher -- often times, this presents little or no problem, as the crew makes sure that their rotation allows for this.

What minor league class is higher (A) or Advanced A ball?

They can't by the rules of little league (in my town) but occasionally they bend the rules, I think it's ridiculous for the league to allow it sometimes though cause it's like if a guy was umping a game for his favorite team, come on it's ludicrous.
