What does a sandwich pick in the MLB draft mean?
I couldn't agree more - the man is a fool. He was an awful GM, and he's shown why many times on Baseball Tonight. Most of what comes out of his mouth is pure garbage, and it's insulting that ESPN actually allows him to write a column that keeps company with those by smart baseball people like Peter Gammons.This is the guy who has said things like, "Pitchers earn their run support," and who talks about heart, grit, toughness, etc., without paying any attention to who may or may not actually be a good player. He's bad enough that the Fire Joe Morgan site has a tag for him, and if you check, there are plenty of entries in which he makes a fool of himself.
Baseball Tonight could, and should, be a great show, but they insist on populating it with fools.
