Which Tier Reserved section is best at yankee stadium?

How could it possibly be more dangerous? It is absolutely the right move and will eventually be done at the college level.

A GoOd TeAm?

Regardless of what type of bat the school has, if someone wants to do damage, they could manage just as well with one made of wood.

Hey folks! somebody knowss in how many countries does the baseball playing?

yes its the right choice this is just kids and people have been injured and some have died because of the metal bats.

Why did the Yankees use Pettite out of the pen tonight?

How the hell can wooden bats be more dangerous than metal bats. If metal bats are not dangerous then why to they keep lowering the max allowed weight difference in metal bats. Ex. 10 years ago you could have a max weight of -5oz of the height. 32" bat the lightest it could be was 28 oz. (-5). Then it was changed to -3 that right that metal bats were to light. It has been proven with a -5 bat that if a ball is hit back to a pitcher at over 120 mph (which is the average for a metal bat) humans do not have the ability to react to it. It is a good call. Good Job New York.

Do white guys wear there baseball caps backwards so they?

I dont think Thsts even reasonable. neither is more dangerous than the other really. And besides metal bats sound so much better when the ball get whacked really hard. I love that noise.

Should Pete rose be allowed?

It's absolutely the right decision. In fact, the wrong decision was to develop aluminium bats to begin with.

Yes, aluminium bats shatter. They also create extremely bad hitting habits, simply because the whole of the barrel is a "sweet spot", and they allow even poor hitters to drive the ball harder and faster than with wood, thus endangering every defensive player very time that contact is made.

When wooden bats break, the rarely fly that far, and it's highly unusual for anyone to be injured by them in the least. Yes, once in a while, a piece of a bat helicopters into the stands, but the spiral motion tends to slow the flight, and as with foul balls, anyone who is paying attention can get out of the way.

Salaries of minor league baseball?

I think its a horrible choice. Who cares if the ball comes off the bat a little faster, it doesnt make a big difference. wood however can easily split and hurt someone. also, a wooden bat runs about $60, sine the break easily you need to often replace them. A good metal bat runs about $200 and will last a couple years. so not only is metal a better choice but its lower cost

Large size baseball jersey?

please let this go through all NYS... i've been nailed too many times

How much do you think this baseball would be worth?

I think the way the ball comes off of aluminum bats makes it far more dangerous than what could happen with a wooden bat. The worst that could happen with a wooden bat is a splinter which is usually easily avoided. With the aluminum bat the ball flies off of it and occasionally off of body parts of the defensive players which lead to serious injuries. A 12 year old pitcher in New Jersey took a line drive off his chest which stopped his heart. Good call by New York City and hopefully more places will follow suit.

What does CUBS stand for?

It is not the right choice for a simpler reason than BESR or danger to kids -- economics.

With a wooden bat that will cost around 45-60 bucks depending on variables (type of wood, manufacturing, etc.) is always just one swing away from becoming kindling.

An aluminum, ceramic or graphite composite bat has a sustained life and can be replaced at a cost of about 250 dollars and last a number of years.

When I umpired in the short-A minor leagues there was an experimental bat called the Baum bat. Durability of aluminum with reaction of wood. Never heard anything new from those studies.

My heart goes out to the family in NJ about their loss. I also recall 1997 at Proctorville Fairland HS(Ohio) had a player die from a throw that hit him in the chest while stealing 3rd. (A friend was working that game).

How is a batter's batting average calculated?

ABSOLUTELY ! Congress should ban metal bats.
