Will Bonds make it into the hall of fame.?

Question:If he breaks the record?
If he doesn't break the record?

Answers:

Who hit 393 carer homers?

Barry Bonds was a shoo in 5 years ago. The only thing that would conceivably hold him up is if he fails a drug test (which he has never done, contrary to what people may tell you).

I don't like the guy and I'm more than a little suspicious of him, but that's neither here nor there. He has 7 MVP awards, he's the all-time walks leader, he has the single season HR record, is one of 3 players to hit 700 HRs, etc. If that's not a guaranteed ticket, I don't know what is.

Whay year did Cubs manager Lou Piniella win R.O.Y?

Yes he will.

People have to realize that even before he used the 'Roids, he was still a spectacular player. People have to learn the judge on what the player did in his whole career, not just in one season.

If you are rounging third and the catcher is 10 feet up the line and you run him over, should I be safe?

Yes, the HOF is marked by talent and Barry has it. However, if Barry tests positive it may be enough to keep him out. Pete Rose was a HOFamer until he was caught betting on baseball which is cheating. If Barry test positive on steroids he will be considered a cheater and a shame to baseball.

Cub Fans: Why are the Cubs Better than the SOX( Besides pointing out attendance)?

yes, either way if he breaks the record or not, he has to be a sure hall of famer.

A-rod 50-60 hrs this year ?

no duh hes probally ganna get more homeruns then Hank Aaron and hes in the hall of fame and when he was not on steriods with the pirates he was a mvp so yes he will first ballot

What Recorder do u think will never be broken?

He will, without a doubt, make the hall of fame. Even if there is so much controversy over him and steroids. He is part of the 500 HR, 500 SB club. That in itself might get him in. He also has a great On Base Percentage with how many times teams walk him. If he hadn't been intentionally walked so many times, who knows how many HRs he would have. I am not a Barry Bonds fan and I think he is a jerk but I think it would be a miracle if he isn't inducted into the hall of fame.

Who own the Yankees?

If he doesnt there is no need to have a Hall of Fame anymore
It will be a joke then a popularity contest

How good will Ian Kinsler be this year?

If the baseball HOF was based on the numbers like it should be than i think he'd get in however berry bonds is always going to have the steroid cloud over his head plus the commissioner's not so subtle witch hunt I don't particularly like bonds or San Fran but i hate that a bunch of reporters that haven't swung a bat since little league decide who or who doesn't get in

What is the most important position in baseball?

Although I have doubts that Bonds will be elected in the first few years that he is eligible, ultimately he will be elected to the hall of fame. He had achieved many honors (including MVPs) before any rumors of steroid use were linked to him. His career totals are incredible, and who can say which other players did or did not use steroids, HGH, etc. during their careers. Unless we can identify all of the players who used these drugs and ban all of them from the hall of fame, it would be patentedly unfair to single out Bonds for banishment from the hall. Like him or not, Bonds is the greatest player of his generation.

Which MLB team holds the best record in 2007 so far, and which team have the best chances to win?

I dont think it matters if he breaks the record.

The fact that McGwire was so far away from getting in doesn't spell success for Bonds.

Bonds has about 1/2 the voters on his side.

He needs a 3/4th vote to get into the hall. And I dont think he'll get it.

Did anyone else just see the fan at the Sox game flip the bird on Fox?

No , If he walks to Alcatraz he won't make it.
HOF voting rules take more into account the simply a player's numbers, they also take into account a players all important character.
Rules for Election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame by Members of the Baseball Writers Asssociation of America (BBWAA)
Section 5 Voting-Voting shall be based upon the players record(ok) playing ability (ok) integrity (no) sportsmanship(no) character(no) and contributions to the team(s) on which the player played (ok)
By my count he doesn't meet half of the voting criteria.

Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn replica jersey?

People can say what they want but I can assure you Barry gets in.

Where is Mark Prior playing now?

Sure, why not? He hasn't broken any rules, just records.

Are the Braves games still broadcast on TBS?

either way no steroids killed that chance

Travis Hafner doesnt lead the Indians in any hitting category. Should this be a worry?

He will but not the first year of eligibility. Before the whole steroid issue Bonds did establish himself as the greatest player of this generation, the whole steroid thing will blemish an otherwise great career and most likely prevent him from being a first ballot Hall of Famer. This answer would apply to Bonds breaking the home run record or not.

What line-up did Ozzie Guillen use yesterday the third game against the Cleveland Indians?

Yes and Yes.

Will Detroit and Kansas City???

Maybe, because he used steroids, but not for his whole life.

MLB FANS click here!?

Barry will definitely make it into the Hall of Fame! Look at another Giant and Cardinal legend, Orlando Cepeda. He was busted for possession of marijuana and still was inducted into the Hall of Fame. The jury is still out on Pete Rose though.. I'd say vote him in as well! The baseball commissioners are just jealous because they never had stellar careers playing baseball. Just being fans of the game and big business owners. That's it. Jealousy!

What team had the greatest pitching staff of all time?

I hope not!

Who was the last player to hit for the HR cycle?

That will be never happen because he is cheater of using steriod. never happen ever!!!!!!!!!!...

When will the Cubs realize how worthless and pathetic they are and that the WHITE SOX are CHicago's team?
