Player taking a .400 average the farthest into the season since Ted Williams?
This might sound crazy but i think Miguel Cabrera has a chance of hitting 800 homer. In hes career he has 106 and he's only 23 or 24 years oldDoes anyone have codes for upper deck kids scoreboard challenge. If you do type them. Thanks?
Sadaharu OhAs much as I hate to say it, I think the best current bet would be Alex Rodriguez who currently has 468, and he's 31 years old. If he plays another 10 odd seasons or so he might be able to reach that feat. He is rarely in contention to lead the league but consistently hits 40 or so home runs per season.
Sadaharu Oh did hit 868 home runs in japan, but
a) that was japan, not quite the quality of major league baseball and
b) he used what is known as a compressed bat which was banned in major league baseball, and is now banned in japan as well.
In the MLB currently, who are the top 3 teams with the best bullpen and the botttom 3 worst?
It's conceivable. Amongst current players, A-Rod could get there if played into his 40s without any major injuries. Pujols is still a long way off, but he's on a good pace. I honestly don't think either one of those two will do it, but someone might do it someday. What does the "infield fly" rule mean?
Yea Barry Bonds ,A-Rod ,Pujols, and probably some other fenom coming up in a few years. What are the similarities and differences between baseball in the United States and in Japan?
Yea, I also think A-Rod has the best shot at getting to 800 barring any major injuries. That stupid hill in the Astros parks?
Without a doubt look for AROD to be the first.Price for Barry Bonds 756 HR ball?
I assume we're talking about major league players... and not Japanese baseball, so I'll give you an appropriate answer:Alex Rodriguez will -easily- surpass that number. He's only 32 and should finish this season with over 500 for his career. That gives him another 8 years (give or take) to hit 300 more.
That's an average of 37.5 a season. And his worst power output in a full year was 35... so chances are he'll do it.
Albert Pujols should also challenge that number.
