There are dry areas in every stadium. If you don't want your child exposed to any of that, then buy tickets for the dry area. But you don't have the right to make these decisions on anyone else's behalf. Can anyone believe that the Brewers are the second best team (win/loss record) in the Major leagues?
simple answer for a simple question.NOyes & no alchol should be banned from the stands...but not from the staduims they should keep it in the concourse area or in a seperate area like a club or patio club where minors(children) are NOT present
I don't think alcohol makes people fight...it's something a lot more simple than that...stupid people. I know hundreds of people who drink at games but never get into trouble.
Tom Glavine: Best Left Handed Pitcher Ever?
Alcohol's a huge sponsor of all the sports. Hell, the top few beers have their logos on Nascar vehicles. That seems like the least appropriate place to put them considering they're DRIVING! They can't hurt their sponsors like that, too much money to be lost for the entire league as well as beer sales for each team's home games. Also, banning alcohol wouldn't stop all of these incidents. Some stupid people are bound to do stupid things, drunk or not.
What are the best Wrigleyville bars to visit after a Cubs game and why?
Only in the city of Philadelphia.Rules question - walk-off ground rule double?
Yes.. defenately... alcohol is so disgusting!!!!!I agree it makes people fight and act stupid for no reason. Some people go there and get drunk and act up and keep you from enjoying yourself. I don't know why they even go there if they are going to get so drunk they can't even enjoy the game anyway. And who wants to sit there and listen to some loud mouth drunk bad mouth you because you are for the opposite team. Last time I went to a game we sat by 2 drunk guys that yelled the whole time and talked about all the women they had slept with the night before. They people next to us had a 10 year old kid with them. He did not need to witness all that nonsense.
Some stadiums are really considering it. But it's going to be tough considering the serious money and profits being made off of it.
These stadiums have overhead and employees to pay.
Name the four players who have won pitchings triple crown?

Yes, i strongly beleive that alcohol should be banned from games. I beleiv that it makes people to rowdy.Best teams in the AL & NL (not best record)?
yes, i agreeIs there a baseball channel on Comcast On-Demand?
My family's had a horrible experience with alcohol, but honestly a LOT of alcohol making companies sponsor baseball teams. Like Budweiser(sp?) Beer sponsors the Yankees.(I think.) It's not like anyone can really do anything about it... I mean, what are ya gonna do? Smack the guy next to you and say "If you don't stop drinking, your team will lose.." ? Even if it was banned from games, a lot of people would still break the rule. As much as I'd love to see alcohol banned from games, alcohol companies still sponsor certain teams. Losing sponsors means losing money, and remember that baseball is not only a sport, but a (I hate admitting this) business. You are a dumbass being drunk is the best way to take in a game. I love Budweiser. If you don't like it you don't have to go, no one will miss you.
Who was the MLB hits leader for the 1990's?
Its true but if guys want to pay $8 a beer to get hammared I don't think we should stop themWhere can you watch live MLB baseball games online for free?
Sounds like a good idea, but in reality all baseball owners care about is money. The major beer distributors pay big bucks to peddle their brew in MLB stadiums. As long as the owners keep getting suit cases full of cash from the breweries there will always be beer at games. It never will be banned at stadiums. You figure it out, at $8.00 for a 12 ounce beer, how much profit is being made at each game for the Vendors who pay the team to be able to sell items. It is a no brainer. They will ban Hot Dogs before they ever ban alcohol.
What are the chances of a MLB team having a perfect season (162-0)?
Beer and baseball go together like PB&J or milk and cookies. You can't ban beer sales from baseball especially considering the revenue it is responsible for. What would Busch Stadium (St. Louis) or Miller Park (Milwaukee) be without beer? The moral delima of drinking is not the responsibility of MLB, or the team, the government or anybody else. It is the responsibility of the individual! If you're looking for a compromise, there are some stadiums that have certain sections reserved where alcohol sales are not allowed in order to provide a more family friendly environment. Yankee stadium is one. They have an entire outfield bleachers section where there is no alcohol allowed at all.More Questions & Answers...
