Let me ask the most simple question for all to see - ready... here it goes.
The White Sox won in 2005. How old were you (everyone - ask yourself)? How old were you 2 years ago? Were you old enough to celebrate?
Now - ask yourself this - how old were you when the Tigers last won in 1984? How old were you 23 years ago? Were you old enough to celebrate this win? Did you have a beer, a bottle of milk, or were you even born?
The point is - who cares that it took 88 years! Most of us could care less! Why - because most of us were not around for 88 years. Most of us for under 30 years, and we Sox fans got to see a championship being won in our "prime" years!

Georgie Porgie is my friend. He can whine all he wants.Personally I hate the White Sox but he does go a little overboard with it.I can't say I've seen anyone express more hatred to a single team out of every I've ever met.

Georgie knows his team sucks and that the White Sox are the last A.L. team to win the world series. And he can't deny that. He is just upset his team sucks and that they will finish last to the Royals. Plain and simple.And while he is the biggest whiner on Yahoo, it's not irony at all because the White Sox don't whine at all.

Apparently he believes that the Twins with only two decent offensive players, but not great, and one good picter in their entire rotation is the best team in MLB, which explains why they got trounced by the Yankees, the Bronx Bombers, 8-2.He also apparently believes Ozzie Guillen's answer to a question and paid respect to different team is whining, which I guess he had to do in October of 2002-2004 after the Yankees knocked the Twins out of the Playoffs, and again in 2006 when the As knocked the Twins out of the playoffs and in 2005 when they finished Third and the White Sox won the World Series.

And I am a White Sox fan and hate the Detroit Tigers sooooooooooo much. But he has a great knowledge of the sport of baseball. His answers may be rude but i respect him. He is just a die-hard fan.

I'm merely stating simple facts. If you cannot deal with the truth then I suppose that is your problem. You know as well as I do that 2005 was a fluke, and if the whiny sux win 81 games this year it would be a miracle.The simple fact is that the whiny sux win a world series every 88 years, and I know that has to hurt, but oh well.

He's unoriginal and bitter, just ignore him. He wants to talk fluke, yet his Tigers got beat by the Cardinals. Whens the last time the NL won a world series prior to that? Sounds like a team that had no business being in the world series to begin with. Losing 4-1, lol. Sox envy is all it is. By the end of this season, he'll be much quieter.
