He has a chance at it, given his great start which it would take to win a triple crown. I know some people will say that he won't have the average necessary to win a triple crown, but he did lead the league at .358 in 1996, and finished second at .321 to Michael Young two years ago. I think that you still have to favor Mauer, as he is a lefty hitter, and has the advantage of getting many more "turf" hit that skip through the infield faster. Still, A-Rod can do it.
