If you are rounging third and the catcher is 10 feet up the line and you run him over, should I be safe?

Question:This has happened to me and I was ejected for it and I want to make sure that the umpire was correct

Answers:

Can someone please explain to me why in baseball some foul balls are considered strikes?

Well, since you asked 4 times...

Did he hold onto the ball? Yes? You're out.
Did he even have the ball? No? Hmm, I think you're out.

But if he had the ball, and you ran him over, and he lost it. You're safe.

Why doesn't my sports team(Chicago White Sox) show up on my scoreboard?

if your talkign about little league of anykind ya you can not run over a catcher if he was way up the line with out the ball the umpire should call it

What does ERA mean?

Nope, not under National Federation rules, which govern most high school baseball. What you did could be considered malicious contact. The penalty is you're out and you're ejected.

Malicious contact is also illegal in American Legion and Little League.
