How big of an impact will Roger Clemens have?
i believe so, the giants are not on the ball with their pitching. and the man can really pack some heat with his unbelievable wind-up. tim lincecum is his name btw :)Did the STL Cardinals win or lose on May 11th, '07 against the San Diego Padres?
He has great stuff, so he will probably be a starter next season.Yeah I think he will soon, the giants need some help pitching and he's the number 11 prospect according to baseball America. They compare his fastball, curveball tandem to Tom Seaver's, so I think he will be in the majors soon.
How could anyone actually like the Boston Red Sox?
His name is Tim Lincecum, not Lincecrum (no R). His start in the bigs depends on injury or how well or badly the current starting five perform. He is suppose to be a phenom. He is averaging 16K's a game with a 1.73 ERA in the minors. I think when he does get the call up, he will be a player to watch. When do you think the next World Baseball Classic is going to be on?
If minor league hitters are over matched against him, then why not? Lets see how he pitches against the big boys. Its gonna be a tough battle trying to win the west this season. If hes ready, bring him up and let him help out. When was the last time the yankees didn't make the playoffs?
As long as the Giants are pitching the way they are, then I don't think we'll see him until either late this year when they can expand the rosters or next year. Always keep in mind that Armando Benitez is on a short leash when it comes to being the closer and Lincecum can come in and fill the spot if the Giants season goes bad. They do not want to rush him if he is not needed.More Questions & Answers...
