If the Mariners games with Cleveland are snowed out...?
Question:What happens to the games which were scheduled to play? Doesn't this back up both teams?
Or do they just move on to the next teams scheduled, and come back for a "makeup" series?

What do the MLB manager do after they are thrown out of the game by umpire?
The series will have to be made up at a later time this season. Since these two teams are not scheduled to meet in Cleveland again this season, making the games up proves to be especially difficult, and will have to be done on mutual off days; days that both teams have off. June 11 is one potential day for rescheduled games to occur (obviously, a doubleheader would take place on this day that both teams mutually have off at the present time), but there is no confirmation at this time that this will happen. If there are no other days later in the season where make-ups will be possible, it is a possibility that either part of the series, or none of the series will be salvaged; however, this would occur only as a last resort. In short, teams play as scheduled, and play make up games on their off days. If no days are available for a make up, games might not be made up, except if the result will decide the wildcard or divisional winner. In this case, the season might be extended by one or two days, just like it is if two teams end up tied for the lead of a certain division and the tie-breaker can decide no winner. Why is the National league know as the senior circuit?
they'll just make it up during their next series as part of a double header. sometimes though it is held off until the end of the season in which case it is only made up if one or both teams are in contention for a playoff spot and the standing will be affected. that is why some teams play 161, 160 games instead of 162.The Mariners will play Boston next and the Indians will play the Angels next, as planned. The series will be made up on mutual off days, as someone else said, or they might even have a double header in Seattle when they play again in September.
they make up the game on monday with a double header
Do you think that Ken Griffey, Jr. will accept the change to right field from center field?
noWhat major leauge baseball team plays in Kansas City?
They are going to try to play a double header today to make up one of the missed games. I would like to see them play another double header on a mutual off day. MLB is talking about switching the Anaheim/Cleveland series around so they play in California this time around.Who's the best baseball pitcher of the modern era? I say Koufax!?
Sometimes they will force the teams to play double headers next time they play to make up for it. But they will have to play these games this year.Who is the biggest disappointment in baseball history?
The have to schedule make-up games. These are the possible dates:
May 21, Jun 11 (although that has CLE coming home for 1 day in the middle of a road trip), Sep 24 (that would see them playing in CLE and then both flying across country to play in SEA), and the All-Star break.
IT's still snowing in Cleveland (CNN weather), and I have serious doubts about todays games. Prepare to see the teams play a D/H on July 11 in Cleveland in addition to individual games on May 21 and Jun 11. The Sept 24 date doesn't make much sense.
However, it is possible to play at least one of these games in Seattle starting on the 25th. It's happened before in baseball, most recently, interestingly, with the Indians, and it will happen again.
That most recent time? Sep 14 - 16, 2001, Cleveland was supposed to have played at Toronto. As you remember, that week's worth of games was added to the end of the season. So, when the game in Cleveland on Sep 26 was rained out, the game that was originally to have been the last game between them that season, the game had to be made up. Now, if neither team was in contention at that point, it would not have been rescheduled. But Cleveland was in contention, and so they played a DH at Toronto Oct 5 and then single games Oct 6 and 7 to end the season.
Any good/bad reviews on some new season slow pitch mens softball bats...?
The Indians and Mariners only have like 2 days in the whole season, that they BOTH have off (together). They will play the next series' with their next scheduled opponents. Although, the next Indians series is at home vs. the Angels. They are trying to move that series to Anahiem because Cleveland's ballpark is not ready to play (ITS FROZEN!)Well i just looked at their schedule and the Double dip was PPD'ed for today too (Monday). So this could be a HUGE HUGE problem because of their off days. They may have to play right before the all star break. Teams usually have a few days off before the all star break, so that seems most likely to me.
