How everybody feelin about the Yankees this season?

Hmm... A rough start, but the Yankees have had a rough start the last few seasons. In fact, the last two at least were spent much of the time behind the Red Sox. However, they always come back in the end to take the division.Wang is desperately needed as soon as possible. The pitching has been a great problem, although it's not all their fault. Temperatures screwed with everyone this week, and there were horrible mistakes made by all teams in the Stadium. Pettite already had a bad back, which was complicated by the cold. Mussina had to move his start back from it's already late time, and we all know that Moose doesn't pitch well when he's not on his set schedule. Pavano... surprisingly didn't do too well. And the major issue these past few years, the bullpen, looks great. When Wang is back, and everything gets in order, Yankee pitching should be a well oiled machine, as long as Pavano functions correctly. Igawa, you ask? I really don't know what to think. Hopefully it was just a bad start, and, if not, the future rotation may be Wang, Mussina, Pettite, Pavano, and Hughes.
As for the defense of the Yankees... I'm just going to chalk it to sub-standard conditions and pray that that's all it is. As I said, bad mistakes were made all over the place this week.
Offense looks very good, and the story of the week is definitely A-Rod. He has been coming through, and has already hit a few home runs. What is it now, 4 as of Sunday? He's brought his bat to bring the Yankees back, even winning with a walk-off grand slam. I never in a million years would have expected A-Rod to do that, but he did. The pressure was on him, a storybook situation, and he came through. I'm hoping that he can stay strong all the way to the World Series. Heck, at the rate he's going, maybe he can bring the home run record back to New York, and take it from someone who should sit on the curb of Cooperstown with McGwire. Of course, that's very very wishful thinking. Hey, in a world where A-Rod can hit a game-winning grand slam down a run in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and 2 strikes, anything can happen.
Why is it that major league baseball night games played in Canada start at 7:07pm?
Yankee fans need to be sacrificing chickens or whatever needs to be done to get Clemens. If they dont then the season is already over.Are these red sox seats @ Fenway any good?
When Wang comes back that will help a lot. The bats will get even better once the weather warms up. I love how they work the opposing pitchers to death. I do not think they have a hitter on that team with a low On Base Percentage. They can make even the best starter throw 100 pitches by the 5th inning and the just tear up the other teams pen. I went to the opening day game. A-Rod's off the chain so far.But we seriously need to pitch better. I'm not too worried, Wang's only another week or two away, Mussina's going to be fine...
And if I've learned one thing about Andy Pettitte, it's this: He catches FIRE in the second half EVERY YEAR. So even if he struggles early, he probably won't lose a start after the All-Star break.

Well im feelin good bout them. They had a rough start but now with A-Rod stepping up to the plate and everyone else being good clutch hitters and defensive players, i think that we're doin good. I think we have a chance this year if everyone can just stay healthy and play their best, then maybe we could possibly go all the way. I have full faith in them and i will be their for them 100%, all the way through the bad and good. Jeter is great as ever and Mo has been a blessing to have back on the mound. To see Posada catch again is wonderful and im happy overall with our team so far and with the people we have. Im happy the season started and i look forward to the continuous homeruns and RBI's and grand slams..especially those strikeouts which are very important to our pitchers.
