Who do you think will get to the playoffs from the AL Central, and who do you hope will?

I know you hope for Chicago--but that team is a hitting nightmare right now. Lowest batting average and fewest runs scored in the American League. I like Danks though. I saw Danks pitch vs Byrd in Cleveland on a 23 degree Sunday last month. Good pitcher.Anyhow...
I'm stating fact---so I'm not leaning toward my favorite (Cleveland)-just telling the truth. Cleveland has the best starting staff in the A.L. Central. Sabathia,Carmona,Byrd are a force. These 3 pitchers are a combined 16-3...Sabathia 3.55 ERA, Byrd 3.52 ERA, Carmona 2.35 ERA. Add Westbrook and Lee in as their 4-5 starters and that is pretty tough. Now that their hitting has caught fire--it could be lights out for the rest of the Division. Detroit is strong--but this weekend wwe will see who's who. Detroit faces the 3 pitchers I named above this weekend in Motown. Chicago has excellent pitching though. If those bats would get hot--especially Paul Konerko (.202???)-they could be a force down the road for the 2nd spot in the Central. You have to think finishing #2 in the Central gives you the best chance of a playoff spot--with that disaster that is NYY and Oakland and Anaheim in the West. Enjoy the year~!

I detest the Twins, especially that caveman Joe Mauer (the next .400 hitter...HA!) so I think AND hope it will be either the Royals, Indians, Sox, or Tigers.

Sorry, but the White Sox will finish third at best in the AL Central. It will go down to the wire between the Tigers and the Indians. The Indians will win it and the Tigers will be the Wild Card team. GO TRIBE !!!I would like to see the Indians win the division this year.
But I still the the Tigers are going to take it with the Indians battling the someone for the wild card spot.
I don't even think the yankees are going to make the playoffs this year. At least until they dump Giambi nad get teh media off their back..

Now that the offense is coming around, and the White Sox have an easier stretch of the schedule coming up. it is time to look at the Sox as serious contenders.
