Will Portland, OR ever get an MLB team?

How does the Designated Hitter rule work?
On the downside they are a small market and on the positive side there is no MLB team in the state. I have not seen Portland on any expansion list and they would have to come up with a stadium to play in, which the people in the state would have to pay for. Another big question would be, "can they put 30,000 to 50,000 people in the stadium every home game". Taking all this into consideration, I would have to say not any time soon. There is a strong chance that Portland could have a MLB club in the next few years. If the city of Miami cannot come up with a reasonable stadium deal to keep the Marlins in Florida, one of the top three cities on their list is Portland.
Are metal cleats legal in babe ruth baseball (ages 13-15)?
PGE Park is nice, but it's 80 years old and it's not big enough to stick a Major-League team in (apparently, they don't even use all the seats)...the field configuration's kinda bizarre too.Build a new park and prove that you'll fill it, and that you'll run the team better than you ran the Jail-Blazers and you might get a team
Best all-time "switch hitting" baseball team?
No. It will never happen. If it does i'll buy you season tickets.I am a huge baseball fan, and I live in Portland. Unfortunately, I do not think we will get a team, although it would be great for the city, and I believe it would be well supported. Portland is a very liberal city. Many of the tax payers have no long term civic vision, and think that they invented the green movement. They are great at complaining and posturing, but when it comes down to it they are selfish and short-sighted, although they like to think that their fecal matter emits no odor. Despite this, I like they area, and hope that the baseball fans and those that truly seek to improve the city will win out. I won't hold my breath though.
