Did MLB Know about steroids use a decade ago on baseball?

Question:It is said that MLB knew that steroids have been used for a long time; however, they did not want to say because they wanted to "save" the game for going down after the strike that happened around 10 years ago?
Di you think that the MLB knew that steroids were being used?

Answers:

Astros fans, who is the most over rated, over paid this year?

Of course they new and they didn't care just as the don't really care now.

Think about it they give you four chances with steroids.
• First positive test: 10 days.

• Second positive test: 30 days.

• Third positive test: 60 days.

• Fourth positive test: One year.
If they thought steroids was killing the game they would ban any player caught using them from the game. Instead they get a smack on the wrist.

This is their discrete way of saying, "You can use" but just don't get caught.

MLB loves having a bunch of guys that can hit 30+ homeruns so that fans will come pay and see them.

Brady Anderson and his juiced 50 homeruns 1996 is living proof. The year before and the year after he hit 34 combined.

Do you think the Los Angeles Dodgers will have a sucessful season this year? Maybe even be World series champs

I don't think it was as cut & dry as described above. It wasn't even a banned substance in baseball. Why? Because then MLB could just claim "We don't need to ban a substance that is already illegal," meanwhile preventing them from having to test for it. There's no doubt that the inflated numbers were benefiting the league. Pretty sneaky, Selig.

WHich side is better? Aaron Rowand/ Dan wheeler or Rocco Baldelli/Jon Garland?

Yes they knew but they didn't think it'll have a big effect on today's players
