Why do you think the NY mets will or will not win the world series in 2007?
Question:Im a big Mets fan, but very realistic. They had a chance in 2006, but blew it when the offense went cold and had some key injuries.
Im very hopful for 2007 but want to know;
Do you think the NY mets will win the world series, and if so why??
If not, who do you think will win the world series?? and what do the mets need to change in order to win it all??

im a big mets fan myself. so far, the Mets haven't lost a game. Mets can do anything if they set their minds to it. they did blow it against the cardinals, and they could of beat the tigers in the world series. at least they were division champions. well, anyways, the Mets have a chance of making it. i mean they sure beat the Stankees, i mean the Yankees. lol. Mets rule, Yankees drule! The Mets can do anything! And i believe they do have a chance at winning!!Scenario: Furcal is on 3rd. What do you do?

The METS are the worst team in NY. Including the Islanders, Rangers, Nets, Nicks etc. They are horrible.. All met fans need some type of meds because how can you cheer for the mets... BOOO METS... BOOOOOOOOOOO....

I thhink they can. Only if their pitching is decent. With average pitching, the offense can lift them to the titel. Weak starting staff and bullpen could bring them down.Im trying to pitch again and i need help on how i can get on top of the ball better.?

There Rotation is good and will be even better when Pedro comes back. You only need 4 starters for the NLCS/ World Series because of days off making the Starting Rotation Pedro, Glavine, EL Duque and Maine which is one of the best in the NL
They need a better bullpen schonhewis has already in 3 appearances given up 6 hits and put the winning run on today that gave the win to the Braves. Mota when he comes back may not be as good as last year since before he came to the mets had a 27.00 era for the indians and was suspended for steroid use at the end of last season I am worried that the low era. he had for the Mets last year was caused by steroids. And after what I've seen of Joe Smith so far I don't think radolph should let him pitch he's given up at-least a hit In every inning he has pitched not including the 3 hits he gave up to the cardinals.

If the Mets want to win the world series Omar much trade for relief pitching and he may have to give up either Pelfry, Miledge, or another prospect to get one.
The Reason I don't think the Mets will win the world series because of what I stated above Is the Starting rotation is great but old meaning they all can't pitch 9 innings meaning the bullpen will have to come out which will keep them from wining the World Series

It's hard to say so early in the season, but i really hope so. they started the season off on the right foot, and hopefully they can remain injury free for the season. Pedro Marteniz should be coming back after the all star break, hopefullly he will pitch well. I would like nothing more than to see them at least make the world series!GO METS!! GO REYES!
