Whose gonna win the NL East in your opinion?
Question:In my opinion, I think the Mets are. The Mets are the best team in the division and they're the best team in the National League. They have the strongest lineup in the NL and in all of baseball. They're pitching is vastly underrated as proven in their massacre of the Cards. I know three games doesn't make a season, but judging from last year, the Mets are so much better off than last year. They had 13 different starters last year and still won 97 games. If they have consistent starting pitching like in the Cards series, then they will run through the NL and into the World Series.
Moving on, the Phillies aren't gonna win because they always have high expectations and always fall short. Their bullpen is not great and they always start the season poorly. The Braves aren't great offensively. The Marlins are talented and very young; in my estimation, they're not ready to step up to the big boys just yet. The Nationals, in my mind, just flat out suck.

The Mets are going to win the NL East, but the Phillies, Braves and Marlins all improved this year.The Phillies and Braves are probably going to be fighting for the Wild Card. I would say that the Mets will win over 100 games this season.

The Mets aren't just the best team in the division or the NL, they're the best team in all of baseball my man. Look at our lineup 1-7! We got the sticks, we got speed, we got power, solid veteran leadership, a great GM, you name it we got it! The only thing that concerns me down the road is our starting pitching, but in the NLCS it was our bats that failed us, not our arms. The future is looking very bright for us though, we got Beltran, Reyes, and Wright locked up to long-term deals and we are in prime position to get the championship I've been desperately waiting for the last 21 years.By the way, I'm from St. Louis and desperately want a rematch with the damn Cardinals, I had to listen to so much bs from the "hometown" fans since they beat us and it really makes me sick! Let's go Mets!!

I would have to wait and see how the Mets favor against the Braves. The team who wins this series will win the division. Both teams swept their first series so either the Cardinals suck or the Mets are just that good. And the Phillies hung in there with the braves to lose twice in extra innings and lose by a few in the 3rd game.I hope the Braves, but I'm not holding my breath.

Mets if they can stay healthy. Remember last year thet Mets had few injuries to their lineup, but if a guy like Reyes or Beltran went down, the Mets would be in some deep *. Their pitching staff actually looks pretty good. If John Maine can continue pitching well, I see no reason why this Mets team shouldnt roll over a overrated Phillies team. The Braves are going to win it. Last year was a fluke. They've fixed their bullpen and are ready to go. Chipper will stay healthy this year. The Mets were supposed to win it in '05 when they added Beltran and Martinez but it didn't happen. They haven't done much to improve since then. And the Braves have fixed their problems. The Mets starting pitching sucks. But I have to admit they have quite a potent lineup. Regardless, the Braves are kickin' butt this year and chalkin' up number 15 outta 16.As of 5:38 PM on Tuesday April 10th, the Braves are leading the division with a record of 5-1.
