Should the Jays move from Toronto?

Question:Should the Toronto Blue Jays move from Toronto considering their low attendence figures and lack of success? With the recent rise of the Raptors, we could see the Jays pushed out of Toronto to another city like Portland, Oregon or Columbus, Ohio. Do you think it is possible?

Witch baseball team you like?

LACK OF SUCCESS?!?!?

The Jays have just finished 2nd above the Sox last year and won the world series twice! They have a Cy Young pitcher and one of the best offenses in the league! They dominate Boston, Minnesota, and The Angels every year!!

A move from TO would be stupid because of all the fans they get from Boston, New York, and Detriot . They come to Rogers Centre by the thousands when their team comes to play. And the Sportsnet channel that broacasts their games not only is shown in Toronto but the entire country of Canada! That pulls in a lot of revenue each year. Look at their staduim, its one of the nicest in the MLB. Plus, they just got a payroll increase and it should put them in the ranks with the Sox and Yanks. There is no way this team is going anywhere.

NO

Do you think the brewers are getting the credit they should be?

no they souldn't

In your opinion what is the best brand of aluminum baseball bats? Also within that brand which bat is best.?

Yes, i seriously think they should move out of Toronto! Why are they in Toronto, in the first place? Explain that to me? I seriously think they should move into a city where attendence is going to be in the 35,000-40,000. By having a good attendance, they would earn money and players from the free agent would love to come their. They should move to a city like Las Vegas. They need a baseball team!

Do you like the yankees?

The Blue Jays have been successful and have drawn pretty well. Are you sure you are not mistaking the Jays with the Expos? I went to two games there last year while traveling in Canada and even though they were just regular games in the middle of the week, they seemed to have a good crowd. No, leave the Jays where they are.

When is the 2007 mlb home run derby?

It's possible. Canadians never really took to baseball.

How can i tell if my 1968 willie mays baseball card is fake? (#50)?

Who do you think is going to win the worldsieres?

Anything's possible but I hope they don't. I've been a fan since they came into the league in the mid-70's. I'd always hoped for a Jays-'Stros World Series.

Do you think a rod will keep it up(hitting home runs)or will he run out of juice?

Dumb question!

Which 2 pitchers would you pay the most to see in their prime?

Attendance was up last year, and the ticket sales so far for this season indicate that it will be up even farther.

Plus, Ted Rogers, who owns the team through his company, Rogers Communications, also owns the stadium, the radio network that includes the flagship station, the TV network that carries most of the games and the stores that sell many of the tickets.

This is like asking if the Braves, while owned by Ted Turner, would move from Atlanta.

Mariners @ Yankees 5/6/07?

With a metropolitan are at or near 4 million people, Toronto is one of the biggest markets in MLB. There are no open markets in the US at this time that can match that number, so why consider moving the team if means going to a smaller market?

Why can't i demote pitchers in MLB 2k7?

Jaysrule said it all!! so in short, NO!

Who was first yankee to ever hit a home run?

Lack of success? They're doing quite well thanks -- competing well with the mighty Yankees and Red Sox -- Attendance was 2.3 mill last year, up 325,000 for the year, 18th overall and rising -- ahead of teams such as Minnesota, Oakland, Cleveland -- if you're going to move a team look at one of the teams that only draw about half of what the Jays draw like Tampa, Florida or KC

All the Jays needed was an ownership committed to fielding a competitive team & now we have it -- Canada has taken quite well to baseball, thank-you very much -- we're just not dumb enough blindly support an ownership that doesn't bother to try and compete
