I read that he will be out for 3 more months. If you have an extra DL spot I would hold onto him, otherwise... Cut him.Why does everybody allow how stadium deals are done?
Drop him and find someone to fill in.What pitch hurts your arm the most?
From what I've heard, he's out for a long time. Maybe not the whole season, but he'll have to get surgery, so it'll be the end of the season if he comes back at all. I'd drop him and pick up someone else. He'll hurt you in the long run.How do you understand MLB games.?
I guess it depends on how your pitching is. If you've got enough starters to make up for the production loss, then bench him and hope for the best. More than likely though, depending on the league style you're in, you'll be so far out of it come September it wouldn't matter if Superman was your starter. Just a thought.Do you think the Brewers are for real? or will they fizzle away down the stretch.?
It has been reported that Chris Carpenter had surgery to remove bone spurs from his elbow on Tuesday, May 8th and he is expected to miss 3 months. There were apparently no other ailments found, so he should make a full recovery. If you have room on your roster, I would keep him for the stretch run as he is one of the top pitchers in the game when healthy. However, if you have limited roster space and need help now, you may have to cut him loose as you could be out of it by September. If you are in a keeper league though, definitely hold on to him.
6 weeks of rest and rehab and 6 weeks of re-conditioning before he can start again
