Their different pitches are harder, at first, for players to keep track of, but in reality, it is their late release time (if they throw sidearm) which gives the batter less time to focus on the ball. Are there any web sites that buy baseball cards?

I'd say its because they have a different rhythm in their motion then most pitchers. Just watch akinori otsuka and matsuzaka, they both had a deliberate pause at the top of their motion. It's not any more deciptive for Japenese people because they are used to it, but everbody in the majors has a perfect windup. When somebody stops randomly, it throws their timing off, however a fluent windup would probably throw people in the Japenese league off.In baseball what does the acronym whip stand for?
