Question:Please discuss this statement (or, consider it a question).
They have the best manger, a tradition of winning, a decent line up, and will never have to face the scrutiny of the NY fans and press, or for that matter Philly. I suggest they will return to the playoffs, and probably the division title.

It's gunna be hard for them. Philly and the Mets have greatly improved over the past two seasons. Previously, the Braves would win the division each year uncontested. But now, there's competition. Obviously, there's a new generation of baseball players who shone brightly last year. The Mets and Phillies are composed of many of them (Wright and Reyes, Howard and Utley to name some). The Braves are an aging team, which isn't going to help their cause this season. I don't think the press is a problem for anyone. The Mets and Phillies really aren't scrutinized as you imply. i doubt it, the mets are clearly the best team in that division and can overwhelm the braves' staff with their lineup...the phillies are probably better than them also, but their bullpen is pretty suspectWhat Is a good baseball drill for kids to learn to be more aggressive going after the ball?

In order for that to happen, Huddy has to shape up, the 2nd base rookie has to do a great job, and the bullpen has to be all its hyped up to be.

I could see the Braves winning this division. They have pretty good pitching, and I see Andruw putting up huge numbers before going on to cash in big time in the free agent market. He knows if he hits 50 and drives in 125 with his glove he could make what Soriano made, or more. The key for them is staying healthy, in particular Chipper and maybe Hampton eventually makes it back.More Questions & Answers...
