Manny Ramirez, who simply can't keep his head in the game, and doesn't run out anything any longer
Curt Schilling, who has appointed himself baseballs' version of Howard Cosell
Jeff Weaver, with the proverbial million dollar arm and the apparently proverbial 10 cent brain to go along with it
Jeff Kent, who can't shake his bad rep, for good reason
You did specify players, and I kept it to active players. If you had said anyone in baseball, my list would have included Steinbrenner and Angelos. Technically, with a lifetime suspension, Pete Rose isn't a part of baseball.

This isn't a bad question, but I don't agree with a lot of the answers. It's hard for me to say Pete Rose because he was one of the greatest hitters whoever lived, so because of the significance of his playing days I couldn't say him. I can't say Sammy Sosa or Mark McGwire, yes I do acknowledge that they probably were taking illegal substances, but I also know that before the summer '98, Major League Baseball was waining, and no one who lived through the race for the record can deny the excitement that surrounded that point in time. Bonds is an easy out. Not only is it likely that he took performance enhancers, but the guy is also a complete jerk from what I've seen, but then again our news is great at skewing things. Finally, I know that baseball would be better off without any connection to John Rocker. Personally, I think the entire human race would have been better off without him, he is racist, homophobic and sexist. I'm surprised no one said A.J. Pierzynski, I wish I could punch that guy in the face. Thank you Michael Barrett.Who do you think will win the Homerun derby this year?
