Does anyone else feel sorry for Scott Kazmir?
Question:I am watching his gem against the Blue Jays, 9 K's out of 12 possible outs. I know he will get about 15 by the seventh and then will get pulled and lose because of the bullpen. I feel bad for him. Does anyone else?

A little, he is too good and they will get him help...Will barry bond's giants finish in last place? i hope so!?
anytime a pitcher has it locked on 'crusie control' and is pitching a gem only to have the bullpen blow it you gotta feel for the guy, he gives it everything and in comes a reliever throwing beachballs out there, sort like what happened to Cole Hamels of the Phillies last week against the Braves...in comes 'Flash" Gordon and BOOM! Brain McCann of Atlanta tees off on him and the Phillies lost...frustrating, very frustrating!Yes, I do feel for him too!
yea cuase he's on my fantasy team
Is Yahoo website on sport related scoreboard is against Chicago Whitesox?
i wont sleep for days because i feel so bad for scott kazmir.happens somewhere in baseball everyday that a starter gets a great outing ruined by the pen. part of the game.
Are rule breakers meant to be punished?
Can't really feel bad for him now. He may have had 9Ks through 4, but last I checked, Reed Johnson just put away his gem of a day. Going against Halladay, he needs to bring his best to every batter, not just rack up 9Ks in four innings. That dud of a fifth inning is now a lot more important than the first 4 sparkling innings.Oh, of course. He was on my fantasy team last year, and I knew I could count on him for a good ERA and WHIP and plenty of strikeouts. He doesn't get enough wins as he deserves because of the team he is on.
Were he on a better team, he would truly be recognized as one of the top pitchers in the game.
Yea you gotta feel a little sorry for the guy. He has a lot of talent, but he unfortunatly is stuck on a pretty bad team. He could become an intricate part of any rotation in the MLB. Like you said, he can dominate the entire time he's out there, but he doesn't get the run support from the batters or relief from the bullpen. People notice this though, and he'll be commended for what he's done or will do. But if he wants to World Series, let alone games, he should get traded.
Will Giants phenom Tim Lincecum be a factor this year?
6-3 Jays final, loss to Kazmir. It's hard to win when you give up 3-run homers.Once in a while, you might try sticking around for the whole of the game.
What was going on with Mike Loweel yesterdayu during the Red Sox vs Royals game?
In a way it does suck to have Kazmir's luck. At the same time though he's in the big leagues. As long as Kazmir continues to pitch well, he'll continue to get noticed. So if the D-Rays improve around him in the next few years, then Kazmir is the first true ace of an organization finally turning the right corner should he decide to stay in Tampa Bay after free agency. However, If the D-Rays continue to remain status-quo or regress over the next few seasons, Kazmir can hit his free agency and field offers from other organizations that offer a better situation for him than what he'll have in Tampa Bay.
Overall Kazmir has a lot of promise for a young pitcher. Even if the work he does fails show up in the win column, he's got a chance all most every five days to show baseball what he is capable of.
this is why baseball is so fascinating
