Do you think the Cubs should try to get these pitchers at the trade deadline?
Question:I think that the Cubbies should try to acquire some of the following pitchers to compliment their rotation:
Carl Pavano
Ben Sheets
Rich Harden
Eric Gagne
I think they'd fit in well with guys like Prior, Wood, and Miller. What do you think?

What minor league class is higher (A) or Advanced A ball?
I think everyone missed the point of your "all DL team". By adding, the Cubs can add to the best team on a DL in the league!Tell me what you think about my baseball stats! (CAREER WISE )?
they are OK with piching but scoring runs is what they needWho hit 2 grnadslams in one inning?
well Gagne would definately fit in with Prior and Miller lol. Pavano stinks, he isnt worth anything. I can see them dealing for Sheets but I think Harden is too much of an injury risk to trade for.Pavano and gagne would make the cubs DL list longer, and Harden and Sheets are too hot of a comodity , I would search for someone else like Scott Sheilds or Todd Jones, they are more likely to be moved and can help out your bull pen, or someone like chris capuano or ervin santana who are more expendable starters. Keep in mind you heve Rich Hill and Carlos Z both Aces in my eyes.
Anyone see pujols last night? 3 ball walk?
sheets and harden won't get traded those are playoffs teams. erig gagne is hurt for the third season. maybe pavano, but he is no good. prior and wood might be out for the season.Who are the teams that you think are going to make the playoffs?
The only change needed in the rotation is getting rid of Wade Miller. What they really need is a reliable closer, and a reliable reliever they can put in there and not blow the lead. I think Carlos Marmol could be ready to start this year. Rocky Cherry is looking good as a closer for there triple A team so if dempy keeps blowing games then he could fill in and we can see how he does.Do the cubs have a chance this year?
Every guy you just named is injury prone. Even Cubs' fans such as myself recognize this. I think we need to build a staff around Carlos Zambrano, Rich Hill, and Ted Lilly.Who did Sammy Sosa hit his 500th Homerun off of?
To be honest, only two would "fit in". Eric Gagne could provide bullpen support for the Cubs. Ben Sheets would provide some long innings and could pair up with Zambrano to take some load off his back.Go Cubbies!
Dude all of these players are injury prone why would you want them on your team in the first place? I wouldn't take the chance. Besides if Wood and Prior don;t play how are these guys going to be a "good fit"?
I am looking for seat X4B at Shea Stadium and I cannot find the seats.?
The brewers will not give up ben sheets. Unless your giving us Aramis ramirez in return casue the brewers lack at 3BDoes the DH have to hit for the pitcher, does it say he'll take the pitcher's spot only.?
This is a funny question because you said the Cubs should get one of those players to fit in with guys like Prior, Wood, and Miller. All of those guys are injury prone, or on the DL. Just like Prior, Wood, and Miller. Being that I am a Cubs fan, I know that this would be a horrible idea, but something like this probably would happen. Trading for those players would be a bad idea. Wood is on the DL, Prior stinks in the minors, and Miller is a bad 5th starter. All of your suggested players would fit in great with them. But like I said, funny question.they're all injury prone
but i would take harden
youngest out of all of them
best stuff
would fit in well
