No he does not get paid. It is a purely honorary position.What is that song when this baseball player comes up to bat??
Yes they do get paid. It is a real job. Stadiums supply bat boys for both teams and they do jobs ranging from ball round up to laundry to helping rub balls before a game. I have no idea how much they are paid. There was a small article in ESPN the magazine a few months back.
