I am about 6 feet and i am about 165, how fast should i be throwing?
Question:I am a little above avr. in size, but i seem to have less velocity than other kids who are smaller and skinnier than me. Luckily i'm a lefty and my ball has a lot of movement, but i think if i could add velocity and an off speed pitch i could one of the premiere pitchers in my league, please help.

your height and weight has little to do with how hard you throw. Just look at Rich Harden, he is about 5-7 and wights about 160 and throws 97+....Why is the Minnesota Twins logo a T with a C in front of it?
I am 15, 145. I can max at around 82-83. Anywhere from 80-85 is an ideal range for you. But it wouldn't hurt to be throwing high 80's to mid 90's. If you can never get the velocity up, there's always the knuckleball...Does anyone know anything about Preacher Roe the baseball player?
It's not just size you need a good coach who can help you with your arm movement & release, alot of your speed is in how the arm is turning on the throw, after awhile size averages out and it's a good technique that is going to improve you velocityWhat pitches does Dice-K throw?
i wouldn't worry about how fast you should be throwing, try to get to the point that you are throwing as fast as your body will allow you.first things, hold the ball loosely, don't "choke" it, keep the ball out a little on your fingertips.
the biggest thing about velocity and being safe and fundamentally sound is to not let your arm do to much of the work. make sure in your wind up and follow through that you are really working your legs, make sure that all of your energy and power is going to the plate.
your landing foot needs to be towards the plate, you want your torso working towards the plate.
exercise as well but be careful of too much weight work especially during the season.
simply being warm will add some velocity, make sure you are entirely loose and limber before you start trying to kill it in there.
your movement is the key, maintain control and work on fundamentals and the velocity will increase
as far as the off speed stuff, that will work wonders to make your fastball look that much better. work on some basic change-ups, the "ok" change up, the four finger, or the palm ball. play with a few and find what is comfortable. i would recommend at your age to not worry about knuckleballs and the like as suggested up above. get to the point where you are solid with your basic repertoire before you mess around with that kind of junk stuff.
about high 80's low 90's
With perfect mechanics you can throw low 90's. At that size though i'd be satisfied with mid-upper 80's.
USE YOUR LEGS TO THRUST THROUGH THE ZONE BEFORE LETTING THE BALL EXPLODE OUT OF YOUR HAND IT HAS A LOT TO DO WITH MECHANICS YOUR LEGS PLAY A BIG PART IN THROWING DO SOME MORE RUNNING AND YOU INCREASE VELOCITY
