Why aren't the number of teams in the divisions and conferences of MLB balanced like the NFL & NBA?
He is known for making the greatest contact but his team isnt that good since they are in a hard division. he is overated too much.Do people in Brooklyn still want the Dodgers to come back?
He's a solid leadoff man that is over hyped at times. He's a productive player but is not all what they make him out to be.What is the most pitches thrown in the MLB by one pitcher?
Yes. Very much so.What are you going to be doing when Barry Bonds breaks the record?
No he is not overrated. Had he started his career in MLB - he would be closing in on 3,000 hits for a career. Automatic HOF stuff. Already holds the record for most hits in a season. He is a consistent Gold Glove winner in both MLB and Japan. RBI is not a common measure used to evaluate leadoff hitters. Try looking at his overall runs and OBP to criticize. The only flaw is that he doesn't walk much. But his slugging % is great for a leadoff hitter - just what you would want to move in those back of the lineup hitters around the base.Would Phillip Hughes have thrown the no hitter if he did not get hurt?
I think he's great,The guys a bullet!! i'll take him on my team anyday! What is your ultimate 25 man roster of current MLB players?
His RBI numbers are low because he has always hit 1st in the order. So, for at least 1/4 of all at bats he cannot get a RBI (unless he hits a HR). His steals numbers are off the chart as are his hits and average. His defense is among the best in the league. Therefore he is a solid 4 tools player and he has acceptable power averaging 14 HR's a season (similiar to Jeter). All things considered, I don't think he is overrated. He scores a ton of runs, hits in a ton for a leadoff guy, and plays top notch defense. All this after the age of 27.
Trivia: what did roy campanella call his equipment?
I don't think so. He's a good hitter and a great base runner. He is fast and fearless at stealing. He is great on D. He has made some amazing catches and can make quick, long and accurate throws. Not overrated, just a slow starter. He hit below .200 in April last year as well.
Who is the greatest Negro League Ballplayer of All-Time?
He is completely UNDERRATED...as much as I hate that team I still have respect for him...remember, he was MVP in his rookie year and set the all-time record for hits in a season...he plays outstanding defense and has a great arm, so his gold gloves aren't a fluke either...you ask why he only has a high of 69 RBI's, that's kinda hard to get when you bat leadoff and your 7-8-9 hitters blow...and he is on pace for over 3000 career MLB hits, and 4000 hits in Japan league combined...how could you overhype such a guy who couldn't even directly communicate with his teammates for a while?More Questions & Answers...
