Yes. The Yankees pay him 252 million dollars not to hit 50 home runs in the season. They pay him to perform well in the post season and help win a Championship. He hasnt done that since he got here. He won an MVP in '04, I believe and does nothing in the postseason. He has not done what they want. If Alex doesn't relax and stop putting so much presure on himself, he should stay as a yankee because only then can he be sucessful.If he continues trying too hard as always,they should let him go.It's sad, but no he should not stay, he needs to walk after this year for his own sake. The sad part is no matter what he ends up doing in his career, this black cloud during his tenure in NY will always be dragged up in discussions. He could hit 900 HR and people would still rag on him for that and that contract he signed for $252 million. he is a great player, do not get me wrong, but he is not the right fit for the yankeeshe is probably one of the best shortstops in the game, and its obviously not working out for him at 3rd, he needs to go back to where he is comfortable, and that over the years has been shortstop.
