Should Arod Stay On The Yankees?

Question:

Answers:

If you had your own MLB team and you could pick anyone to play for you, what would your starting lineup be?

if i were a-rod, i would probably want out by this time, he has put up mvp caliber numbers in his time in new york yet he continues to get treated as if he never gets on base

Redsox or yankees?

yah

Top 10 Hitters in All of Baseball?

i would say no because he cannot handle all of the media and boos he gets when he fucks up but i think the yankees can win without him and with a guy as good as him for a cheaper price

Who will break the HR record next?

yES

How would you react if the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series in 2007?

hell yes why not tell me why not

Red sox fans answer this?

why not, they need him, but in reality any team does...gold glover and a good stick

Why is cricket a better sport than baseball?

Yes.

Only because the yankees have not won a world series since he's been there.

How do you bet a two teamer in baseball?

i dont really know about that because he just struck out with bases loaded chance for a game winning hit and he have helped the yanks win in diff ways

Should i trade pujols or keep him?

Yes. The Yankees pay him 252 million dollars not to hit 50 home runs in the season. They pay him to perform well in the post season and help win a Championship. He hasnt done that since he got here. He won an MVP in '04, I believe and does nothing in the postseason. He has not done what they want. Getting rid of him would be a good plan of action.

Whats the most important thing in taking ground balls?

depends whos bahalf are u asking? best for the yankees yeah he should stay. but not for arod. He is the best 3B is all of baseball so the yankees wont be able to "buy" a better one once he is gone. but if he wants to go somewhere else he should he can make the same money if he opts out so thats not a prob. he still makes 1 million a year over the next 4 years even if he doesn't play baseball.

Which team is the red sox mortal enemy?

If Alex doesn't relax and stop putting so much presure on himself, he should stay as a yankee because only then can he be sucessful. If he continues trying too hard as always, they should let him go.

Satchel Paige?

It's sad, but no he should not stay, he needs to walk after this year for his own sake. He was never accepted there from day 1 and no matter what he does, he can't win with the Yankee fans and the NY media. The Yanks could win the World Series this year and he could be the World Series MVP and hit .450 in the playoffs with 10 HR, and the NY press would write "it's about time he did something" or "we could have won more titles if he showed up in 2005-2006". He's in a no-win situation there and needs to go somewhere where he's appreciated and not scrutinzed every at-bat he doesn't get a hit or every time he and Jeter don't smile at one another and act like the best of buddies. There are 25 or so other cities and teams who would LOVE having A-Rod in their city playing for their team and for his own good, he needs to find one of them. He also needs to go somewhere where he can go back to playing SS, his natural position and a position he excelled at greatly.

The sad part is no matter what he ends up doing in his career, this black cloud during his tenure in NY will always be dragged up in discussions. He could hit 900 HR and people would still rag on him for that and that contract he signed for $252 million. I don't know why people hate him for that though, hate the idiot who offered it to him, he's the nut here. Alex is like any other normal human being.who wouldn't accept such an offer?!?!?!

Biggest waste of money this season (MLB)?

he is a great player, do not get me wrong, but he is not the right fit for the yankees

he is probably one of the best shortstops in the game, and its obviously not working out for him at 3rd, he needs to go back to where he is comfortable, and that over the years has been shortstop.

he cant handle the pressure of the yankees media, and his friendship with jeter has deteriorated, and we all know jeter is the franchise player of the yankees

so in my opinion, he has no need to stay
he should opt out of his contract and move onto bigger and better things where he is comfortable

If clemens plays?

He is one of the greatest in the game. He cannot handle NYC and playing next to DJ.
If Yankees can get something good for him amsybe he should move on.

Which player was named the Canadian baseball player of the half-century in 1950?

A-Rod should stay. He needs to prove that he can come through during the clutch, which he almost never does. He's a great player but if he can't start performing when it counts, he'll always have that following his career. "he was good, great, but he never came through when it counted." Would you want that following you around all your career? Nope. He should stay and prove his worth, all 27 million dollars of it.

Are baseball players really considered athletes?

Absolutely he's a great player ....
