Is Sandy Koufax really coming back into baseball?

Question:I heard something on PTI about Koufax playing again...but I can't find anything else anywhere. So is it true he really is playing for an Israeli league?

yes this is true. 41 years after his retirement, on April 26, 2007 Koufax was drafted to the Miracle from the newly formed Israeli Baseball League.

The Isreali Baseball league is having their inaugural season and for respect of koufax, they got him with the last pick of the draft to show respect for a famous Jewish and Isreali ancestory guy who will show as a model for the league. Cool idea from the league!

Koufax is 71 going on 72 in December, plus he's a hall of farmer. The guys on PTI are just being funny! If he's in some Israeli league he's probably a manager or an umpire
