When will Tim Linecum be called up?

Question:I am holding onto him in one of my fantasy leagues. I have some injured SPs, and I'd like to get someone that's playing right now. When is Tim Linecum expected to be called up by the Giants?

Are the AZ Diamondbacks slowly working their way to the cellar, or can they still be a threat in the NL west?

Some local radio guys asked that 2 Brian Sabean last week... he said they want to keep him down in triple A as a starter and will only bring him up if someone gets hurt since all 5 giants starters are going well. I wouldn't hold onto him because there is no promise he will come up and when he does you are hoping for a lot if you expect great things every start. Unless your league has an unlimted bench, he is costing you a start every day he is on the roster and that is gonna add up.

UPDATE... did you see the article. If a trade opens up a SP spot on the Giants rotation (I can totally see them dealing Lowry) then holding him will pay off big time!

Is Craig Biggio a first ballot Hall of famer?

I am sure he will be brought up very soon. He is pitching to well to hold him down. He may be put into the Bullpen though if the Starting Pitching remains solid.

Giants fans only?

As long as the Giants pitching keeps pitching like they have been, he won't be called up until September!!

The way the Giants have been pitching (Zito, Cain, Morris, Lowry, and Ortiz), he won't be called up for a while - and only in the bullpen. Their pitching is just clicking right now to mess with it.

Has any team in baseball history had two 30 game winners on their pitching staff in the same season??

They'll probably keep him in the minors so he at least gets some innings in. The way the Giants rotation is looking theres only room in the bullpen.

Dropped Third Strike Question?

It will probably take an injury to one of their starters, or a return to form by Russ Ortiz.
Obviously, with all the money they spent on Zito, he is guaranteed a spot in the starting rotation.
Cain and Lowry were each 1st round picks with lots of promise, so their spots are almost certainly safe too.
Morris is not as good as he once was, but is still a solid starter who would be hard to unseat.
That leaves Ortiz as the weak link in the rotation. He was horrible the last 2 years, and has always allowed a lot of guys to reach base, even when he was winning. He has a WHIP over 1.5 this year. Keep your eye on Ortiz to see when Lincecum will get the call.

Can anyone tell me the top 5 MLB pitchers?

I'm not sure, the Giants starting pitching has been good thus far. Probably if and only if one of their starters gets hurt.

The SCOREBOARD in My Yahoo does not post the team I selected (Chicago White Sox). How can I fix it?

I don't know but being a Giants fan.I think he would be really beneficial to the Giants bulpen right now.so possibly!

GO GIANTS!!
