Question:I do because Oakland is not that good this year and that division is so weak right now. I think the A.L. West is the weakest division in baseball right now. So it will be easy for the Angels to win it.

You can never count out the A's. It will probably come down to the last stretch as usual. Cust has been amazing for the A's so far this year. If he continues who knows. With the A's pitching and Cust hitting in the line-up consistantly I'd say they are decent team.

They have no reason not to. They should walk all over that division. They need to get their game together and get streaky. They have the bats, and might get another come the deadline, and the staff/bp is good too.On paper, they easily have the best team of the 4.

Lackey is a horse. Weaver is looking more like he did in '06 and Bart Colon is back. Young arms like Saunders can help, bullpen in great and the back of it is nasty. Setup and closer in K-rod. Offense a little weak, but if someone can step up and give Vlad some protection, the Halos can be the team to beat out West. Seattle is playing well, though. Power in the outfield and corner infield spots. Also the best 'up the middle' defense in baseball. No joke. Check out Lopez and Betancourt if you haven't already. Let's see... Usually, the A's are about 10 games under .500 at this point of the season. They OWN the second half. Plus, they've hung with the Angels using reserves and minor leaguers. Count on the A's to surge in July through the rest of the season, especially when they get Kotsay, Harden, Piazza, etc. back. If I were the Angels GM, I would count the season a loss and start building for next year!ya but vlad needs to step up for that to happen
