What is the best batting AND Pitching Average a baseball player can get?
Yes it is possible to both win and lose the same game. If a pitcher were to pitch 5 innings for the home team and the game is tied with runners on and the game is called on account of weather and the makeup date is later, that pitcher gets traded to the away team and is pitching that same game and gives up the single that scores one of the runners that was left on from the game. He would win the game for the home team and lose the game for the away team so you see you could both win and lose a gameDoes Baseball need to start using instant replay?

No. You can only get a win if your team wins, and you only get a loss if your team loses. There could be a scenerio where a player blows a save, and gets a win. It actually just happend just recently. I'm not sure who this happend to though. Was Sandy Koufax the most dominating pitcher of all time?
Not unless he was pitching for both teams at the same time. So maybe in some sandbox league, but in organized baseball, no.Why is Ichiro's first name on the back of his jersey?

Okay, so Mr. Jeter's a hottie?
How's this for a scenario. Pitcher starts the game, pitches 2 innings and is down 1 run. While his team is at bat, he gets traded to the opposing team. He leaves the dugout and reports to the new team. His arm is still fresh and the new team decides to play him. They still have the lead, so he is the pitcher of record on the other team. Since the starter for his new team didn't go 5 innings, he is now the pitcher of record for his new team and earns the win, while earning the loss with his old team. Is it possible? Afraid I couldn't locate the rules regarding this. I have seen position players play 2 games in one day due to a trade (Paul LoDuca).Do you think Barry Bonds will get to 780 homeruns total after this season? I know the record is 755?

No, one or the otherI want to buy tickets to a game at Fenway. Which seats/sections have obstucted views?
Nope. Here is why: The roster for the game is on the lineup card exchanged at home plate before the first pitch, nobody not on the roster can play in the game. Even should a player be traded to the opposite team during the game, he cannot play for the opposing team during that game because he was not on the lineup card at the beginning of the game.
As for the suspended/resumed, that doesnt work either because when a game is resumed, it is done using the same lineup card as the first time it was played (including bench and bullpen.) Regardless of the trade, he wasnt on the original lineup card and isnt availible for use in the game.
