Question:I am a huge met fan but i just want to know why u yankee fans think that the yankees r so great? They STINK! i mean come on. they won 1 game out of 3 and the mets won all 4. 4-4 that is AWESOME. but i would also like to know who agrees with me that the mets r awesome and the yankees stink. thanks

Mets have been better than the Yankees in recent times. We have fast exciting youngsters. The Yanks have old guys, never put on a good show cause Torre and Steinbrenner are uptight and they have many weaknesses. Bad starting pitching, bad defense, injury problem and have a crappier farm system than the Mets. Okay I read the previous answers and have to say the Mets might be good, but until they win a championship they are still #2 in New York baseball. In fact, even if they do win a championship they are still #2, so maybe if they can finally win back to back division titles and actually win the world series then we can talk, until then..shut up! Also, the only way they managed to win last year was because Willie Randolph a former Yankee was in the dugout. Who by the way got stiffed on the manager of the year award last year. I am a big baseball fan, but I am also a HUGE METS FAN! I dont like saying certain teams suck, but its really early to point fingers on who sucks and what not of course my mets are 4-0 and hopefully rock the braves today which should be a great match up (Glavine Vs Smoltz), and they are looking really solid and young and their defense is improving every year. They should definitely be winning another division title and going to the playoffs. I really cant say the same thing about the Yankees they just dont look too solid out there and there are too many players out their that are wearing pinstripes that dont deserve them (meintkiewicz,abreu, and even a-rod) I dont take anything away from them, and they will probably go on to win as many games as the mets seeing as they usually breakout during the second half of the season, but I dont see them getting past the first round of the playoffs that is if they make it. Yankees are better. Regular season the mets might beat the yankees, but if they play in the playoffs i would bet on the yankees.
