Question:THey were up like 4-0, top of the 5th inning (Indians were pitching and at home). 2 outs, 2 strikes on the hitter. Theoretically they needed only 1 more strike to end the game, making it an official 5 and a half innings.
Then the umpires called the game at that point, and now the Indians are forced to play a double header tomorrow. I was unable to watch the game, so I only heard so much on the radio. Was the weather that terrible that they could not let them go for the last out?
Guy on the radio said.. "It could only happen to Cleveland". So true my friend, so true.

That game should have never been started to begin with, but yeah Cleveland got a tough break.A scheduled traditional doubleheader on Sunday, and then both teams have to eat a day off later in the season. Poo Poo occurs.
The Tigs & The Jays have to eat a day off in early Septemeber because of a "cold-out" this week.
