How do you throw a curveball with a baseball?

Well for starters if your arm starts to hurt at all you can always go and ice it or if your looking for something fast then go to the bathroom and run your under warm water to soften the muscle up! this will help I have been a star pitcher for 2 years and this helps me a lot!

Who is most likely to win...?

Keep working on perfecting your fastballs. A four seamer and a two seamer(also called a sinker). Then develop a changeup as your third pitch.

Is wrigley field being sold?

i throw. work on location. dont throw junk, you dont need it now. only pitch you need is a fastball. just work on getting if over the plate and different situations.

like. if you have an 0-2 count. why throw it over? give him a high fast ball ... its a fact that the best lookign pitch to a hitter is a high fast ball. its right up at your eyes ...

you got any more questions specifically, id be glad to help you out.

In baseball..what is Balk?

A good fastball and a change-up are pretty much all you need. The most effective parts of a fastball are inside on the hands of the batter and down and away. As for changeups, keep them down and inside, let them go fishing.

What does evrybody think of Phillip Hughes throwing a no hitter last night?

First, and foremost NO JUNK!!! If you throw the curve or slider wrong it'll ruin your arm forever.
The second is hide your delivery, i.e. throw every pitch the same way, you can work on this without throwing junk.
I hold two records in minor league little series in California, most K's in a game, 18, most K's in a season, 163 in 11 games pitched. Saying that, I had a dominant fastball at 11 that I would throw 4 ways, four seamer, 2 seamer, and then both of those sidearm as well. The 4 seamers would jump up and away from righties, the 2 seamers would dive down and in to righties.
The last thing I would say is to get your control down solid. Walks, hit batters, and fat belt high stuff don't do anything for you except hurt you and your team. What I would do is practice everyday trying to hit cans that I had in a square pattern around the plate hanging from the eave over my backyard wall. Like this:

. X X

. X X

I would try to hit them in order starting from top left to bottom right in a 'Z' pattern. Every time I hit one in order I'd go to the next one, but only after I nailed the one I was aiming for. Always I would only pitch 3/4 speed at these targets till I hit 8 in a row, then I would gradually increase my velocity.
And last but not least remember this: HAVE FUN!!!!
You are playing a game, only a game. Put your best effort into it but if you aren't having fun then find something else to do. Even though I played hard and aggressive I always had fun. You should try and do the same.
Good luck to you!!!
P.S. The cans on my diagram are off, they need to be on the corners, both high and low.

St louis cardinals world series internet big picture?

Work fast, throw strikes. Pitchers who work slow and walk hitters put the defense to sleep and then when they do have to make a play they're not always ready.

Locate your fastball, be able to put where you want when you want, the other pitches will come in time. Fastball /Change-Up is all you need right now, curvaeball can be worked on later during high school. Build your arm strength and worry about breaking pitches later when you're older.

And number 1 - Pitch with Confidence!! Good Luck!
